Oh wow- I learned something new today.. Never heard of icewine, but very interesting! And the picture is magic. Always though the grapes grew only in Greece, Spain etc.. Thanks Calli – enjoyed it.-)

Unfortunately I can’t be of much help on the wine side of things since I don’t drink the stuff but I’m all for your thoughts on visiting Sun Peaks and sampling some icewine to see what you think

I have never heard of “ice” wine so this was very interesting to read about. I love wine but not necessarily sweet wines. I need to taste this and see what I think. I’ve also only ever visited Whistler Resort so it just might be fun to check out Sun Peaks Resort and enjoy this festival.

I’m not very knowledgeable about wine – I’m more of a craft beer drinker – but from what I’ve read ice wine is sweeter because the juice from the grapes is so concentrated. But does this mean the wine is better tasting? I have no idea
