Congratulations on completing the challenge! I have enjoyed reading your posts about beautiful BC. It has brought back a lot of lovely memories from going to high school there. While writing this the thought to drive the entire Trans Canada Highway really hit me – I’ve only been to three other Canadian provinces and would love to explore more of the country. I’d love to read all about the trip when you decide to go As for Banff and Jasper, have a wonderful time they are so incredibly beautiful!

Calli, I’ve driven the Alaska Highway a couple of times and loved it. Now I’m setting myself a goal to drive the entire Trans-Canada Highway! It’s such beautiful terrain, and I know there are going to be fabulous campsites the entire way. I just have to figure out when, because this summer is BC and Alberta…Banff and Jasper here I come! Writing about Terry Fox, even this small blurb made me tear up. His battle is incredible and I only wish more people knew his story. Perhaps if he was American he’d be a household name around the globe. However even though he isn’t widely known internationally, his contribution to cancer research and lasting legacy even here in Canada is impressive

Thanks Ann, I’ve really enjoyed the challenge. Terry Fox is possibly the best known Canadian – inside Canada. We really do consider him a national hero. His story is heartbreaking but what he’s done and the legend that lives on is incredible. Over $600 million dollars has been raised in his name to fight cancer – and a national fundraising run takes place each September.. I only wish he was as well known internationally as he is in Canada

Thanks so much Tam – I agree this month has just flown by on the blogging front, we’ve been so busy with the challenge. However now looking back I can’t help but feel really good about what we’ve all accomplished. 26 new posts isn’t too shabby
