It was cold, and really rainy – not really the best time to go as trips to places like Giant’s Causeway were extremely wet (to the point of not being able to take photos because of all the water spots on my lens). However, if you’re planning to go in the off season it’s definitely do-able and we still have great memories of the trip. I’d just recommend adding a few days into your itinerary to account for bad weather days. That way if it’s miserable the day you planned to go somewhere, Cliffs of Moher for example, you have another day or two to hope for better weather.
