That sounds awesome…we really love Slovenia. It’s not too hard to do via bus, all of the drivers we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful (they helped us with where to get out and pointed us in the right direction). If you did want to do a tour I know a number of people that have used http://www.travel-slovenia.com/ and enjoyed it – their full day “Alpine Fairytale” goes to Bled, Bohinj, and Vintgar (and only costs 46 Euro). Your photos are absolutely stunning. Hubby and I are heading to Slovenia in April. From our research there aren’t many tours that operate and we are depending on public transport. Hopefully Vintgar Gorge will be one of the places we could go when we are in Bled!
