Turkey has some great budget options and public transportation that should help keep your costs low. We were able to do this tour with the owner of our hotel but there are public buses that cover the area as well and are much cheaper.

It was also a refreshing change to travel around by car and have the ability to pull over when we wanted (compared to public transport).
