Do it! We went in 1999, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything to top it. Our boat was the Santa Cruz and I think the company was Metropolitan Travel. It was about 4 nights, but there were longer cruises available – we always said we’d go back and do more but we never did. It was an amazing experience – although there were maybe 90 people on board, you divided up into smaller groups when you got onto the islands. Walking so close to the wildlife was awesome. The only other place we went in Ecuador was Quito, which we enjoyed, but we did suffer slightly from the altitude. You would love it!

I haven’t been to the Galapagos, but it’s somewhere I would LOVE to go. I don’t think it gets more epic than this, and I honestly can’t think of a more exciting or memorable honeymoon! I’m sure you have some other really fantastic options you’re considering, but the Galapagos would be pretty hard to top, I think!
