They preserved their medieval architecture and the history is facinating, especially how they influenced the lives of the communities surrounding them.

However I am SO glad we did because it is beautiful, yet also somewhat rough around the edges and less touristy than most of Europe.

What can I say: I’m just not a Dracula nerd! But, that said, you have totally convinced me that we need to see at least a bit of this as Sighisoara looks absolutely incredible! So picturesque! So full of culture yet so free of vampires! What’s not to love? 😉
